Join Us on Your HIA Journey
As dedicated HIA professionals, we look forward to sharing our collective experience and working alongside those who are committed to improving HIA practice. This online, micro-credential is a specialized program designed to equip multi-disciplinary professionals with critical skills that are aligned with international standards of HIA practice. HIA is often used in the planning and preparation for major projects, or as a tool for post-incidents or disasters. The fundamentals can be incorporated into environmental and social impact assessment processes or HIAs can be stand-alone. The ultimate goal of HIAs are to provide decision-makers with evidence-based insights on how projects, policies, incidents and events might influence public health outcomes, and to ensure that health considerations are integrated into planning and development processes to the benefit of society.
